Activity 1 - Story Comprehension
For this activity you will complete each section of the sheet without using your book for help. This is to prepare you for the comprehension tests at the end of the week. Please check each activity for specific directions, and make sure you do all your work with proper sentence structure, spelling and grammar.
Activity 2 - Word Sort
For this activity you will open the attached word document and do the consonant sounds activity. If you should need help, consult with your partner and see if you can figure it out. Once you have completed the activity, print out your sheet and have me sign of for completion of the activity.
Activity 3 -
This story was about a sycamore tree. I want you to use the internet to do research about sycamore trees. Once you have found a valid web site use the attached word doc to write down the information you have found. The document will give you guidelines for completing this activity. If you have any questions please ask your partner first then see me if you still do not understand.
Hints: Use the student resource page for additional help. Focus on the activiy in Activity #1 - It will help you on your story test on Friday! Always answer all the questions in all the activities in a complete and proper sentence using proper grammar and punctuation or you will lose points for the assignments.
